Objective 2.02 Understand elements and principles of design

Essential Questions:  1.  How are the elements effectively applied in interiors?  2.  How are the elements used to create the principles of design?  3.  What are the principles of design? 

Warm-up: Students will make a list of 10 words they think of when they think of rhythm.

to fill in NOTES Download NOTES

for Rhythm and the types of rhythm.

Activities:  Students will complete the Rhythm Color Page Download Rhythm Color Page

and a rhythm mood board on Houzz.com. Mood boards should include one picture for each type of rhythm and each picture should have the type of rhythm labeled.  For extra credit - take your phone and go around school and find actual pictures that represent each of the different types of rhythm.  Copy and paste them all into a google doc and submit.
